Senior Sessions
Alexandra Cagwin
This was a fun session! We had a large group with us while shooting; I got close to her mom last year during their wedding last summer (their pictures are under the Weddings tab) and her husband, Brent joined us, as well as Alexandra's best friend, Madi. We went to Freedom park at the busiest time with photographers everywhere, but managed to be patient and get some great pictures.
Ashley Behymer
I got an email a couple months ago about doing her senior pictures in Matthews and was very excited to meet her! I love the opportunity to meet new faces and learn about them. We bonded when she told me she has been to France before since she saw my tattoo is in French. She is easy going, adventurous, and super sweet. Hope you have a great time at USC next year, Ashley!
Caroline Dennehy
We go way back... I used to carpool with her sister to basketball practices years ago. Caroline and I had great times jamming out in my car while getting Chick-fil-a before school. I am excited for her future and to see her graduate this year! We had a great time shooting her senior pictures Uptown. She is such a joy and will go on to do amazing things, thank you for the opportunity to do your senior portraits!
Zachary
I got to shoot alongside Dan Klutz this guy's senior session. I was excited to see how someone else shoots and it was my first time in Downtown Waxhaw! Dan made me laugh so hard and got Zachary to open up a little bit. I am so thankful for him taking me under his wing and helping me grow as a photographer. Here are a few of my favorites that I took as a second shooter!
Senior Sessions
Katherine Hill
I loved getting to know Katherine and have learned that you can learn a lot about a person during the couple of hours of just taking their pictures. She has a sweet, quiet spirit, but was so natural in front of the camera. I learned a lot about her passions when she started to ask me if we could incorporate her flute, sketch book, and a book to read in some of her pictures. I think that is so special when people bring things they love with them! I am so grateful she asked me to take her senior pictures. I hope she loves Appalachian State University next year!

Mackenzie Wilson
I was blessed to be able to take this gorgeous girl's senior pictures! She is so sweet and this cute country background fit her perfectly. We had a lot of laughs and even got a little bit of rain drops on us as we were finishing up our shoot. She was such a joy to photograph and I am so proud she chose to go to UNC Chapel Hill next year! GO HEELS!
Justin Markwat
I had the opportunity to take my good friend's senior pictures. We went to two parks in Matthews, North Carolina overlooking the pond with all of the leaves changing colors. His beautiful girlfriend, Lily Austin, came along for his senior session and I snuck a couple quick shots of them together. :) They were easy to take pictures of because they naturally are always smiling and I enjoyed every minute of our time together.
Jamie Pulito
Luckily the rain stopped so we were able to head over to the Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, South Carolina for her senior pictures! Jamie made the most of the shoot even though none of the horses were very corporative. I loved shooting by the rustic, woodsy cottage and in the wide open grass fields. Right when it was starting to get dark we decided to run to the downtown area and shoot pictures in the street-dangerous, but worth it.
Amaris Norwood
Couldn't have chosen a more perfect day in July to explore a sunflower field. We drove an hour drive to McConnell, South Carolina in search of this field I scoped out online- and thankfully we were in luck! This hidden gem was off a gravel road and a woodsy path, perfect for Amaris! She is an adventurous, free spirit who loves nature. Her beauty shines as bright as these sunflowers.
Millie
Shout out to Melissa Joy for letting me assist her for this fun shoot. We did this sweet girl's senior pictures in Fort Mill, SC. Wish her the best of luck at UNC Chapel Hill!
Elena Acampora
This girl couldn't stop laughing the entire shoot, but thankfully she has a beautiful smile. Who knew trying to get the perfect angle while balancing on a tree trunk would lead you into a huge ant pile? Nevertheless, we still had a great time at the pond in Matthews, North Carolina.
